Kingspan kooltherm k7 a premium performance phenolic insulation and thermapitch tp10 a high performance pir insulation are both fibre free rigid thermoset insulation which can be used to insulate warm. This eliminates the need for stripping down the roof to deck level and the provision of a vapour check is not required. The insulation is immediately below the waterproofing layer. The vapour control layer is above the decking but below the insulation.

Kingspan thermaroof tr26 is a high performance insulation with a fibre free rigid thermoset polyisocyanurate pir core. A flat roof where the insulation sits below the waterproof membrane and above the structural deck is a warm roof deck. Warm deck flat roofs can be constructed on most modern construction material types such as concrete timber and timber based sheets. A warm flat roof or a built up roof bur is one where all the insulation is above the joists deck making them part of the warm fabric of the building.

It is suitable for flat roofs waterproofed with mechanically fixed single ply waterproofing and has a thermal conductivity of 0 022 w mk.
