In our case as in most cases we would have no room for a dishwasher in our kitchen if we didn t put our washer in the garage. I am moving a washing machine from my parents kitchen into their garage. However before you decide to install the machine in your garage ensure that the area has a drain hot and cold water supply and will not fall victim to frozen pipes during long periods of cold weather. I really want to wash my king size duvet in it but would need to connect it up with the hose pipe as it s at the bottom and far from the water supply there is a drain outside that the waste would reach.

However a garage is not a good place to install a washing machine.
